Las Vegas Sands unveils New York's Long Island casino

The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum's long-term lease has been negotiated to be purchased by the operator. Sands would get control of up to 80 acres if the agreement goes through, but it still needs several clearances.
The development's original blueprints indicated that the casino gaming area would occupy less than 10% of the overall space. Hotels, concert halls, spas, fitness clubs, outdoor community areas, restaurants with renowned chefs, and convention centres are all part of the broader development's hospitality and entertainment amenities.
